How to save form submissions in Google Sheets
Brave lets you send form submissions to your emails without any effort from the form settings panel. But if you want to save the submissions, you can do so by connecting your Form with Google Sheets with Zapier.
Step 1: Setting up the Form
Make sure all your fields have “Field Name” set for them.
Step 2: Setting up the Sheet
Open Google Sheets and create a new sheets and make sure you have the same column as the form fields. The columns name can be any.
Step 3: Connecting the Form with Google Sheets with Zapier
- Go to your Zapier Dashboard
- From the Connect this App field, select “Webhooks by Zapier”
- Select “Google Sheets” from the “with this one!” field.
- Select “Catch Hook” from “when this happens” field.
- Select “Create Spreadsheet Row” from “then do this!” field.
- Then click the Use Zap” button that just appeared below.
- On the next screen, click the “Copy” button to copy the webhook url.
- Then go back to your Brave Editor screen and open up the Zapier Settings tab and insert the url in the “Zapier URL” field and click the “Send Sample Data” button.
- Go back to Zapier and click “Continue”.
- Click the “Test Trigger” button and the sample data you sent will show up. Click “Continue”.
- Click “Continue” for this step too.
- On the next step, select your Google Sheets account. If you have’t connected Google Sheets to Zapier before, you can do so from this step.
- On the next step, first select your Google sheets where you want to save the submissions.
- Then map all column fields with the Brave form fields and click Continue”.
- On the next step, the connection summary will be shown. Click “Test & Continue” button to send test data from Zapier to your spreadsheet you just connected.
- If the send is successful, you should see a “Test was Successful” message.
- Click “Turn on Zap” button to make the connection live.
- Go back to Brave and make sure the “Send Data to Zapier / Integromat” option is enabled for your form and publish the popup.
